Active environmental protection in our adhesive department

As a member of the Chemischen Industrie e.V (Chemical industry organisation) and the Industrieverband Klebsoff (Industrial organisation for adhesives), we clearly support the Responsible Care initiative. Responsible Care is a world wide, voluntary initiative, which has been made personally responsible by the chemical industry for development in the chemical industry. It intends to treat people and the environment in a responsible way.

Goals

Our goal is to produce and market products that offer our customers special uses. Along with our main goal of improving the product safety, protecting the environment and health cover as well as safety at work also belong in this category. Applied environmental protection means the following to us:

• even when choosing raw materials, environmental factors are taken into consideration and non-environmentally friendly factors are cut out wherever possible
• to look after the natural substances, water earth and air
• to avoid emissions and waste where possible and where that’s not possible, to reduce them

Legal Goals to reach

We develop and encourage understanding for protection of the environment and are aware that we can only achieve our high demands with motivated and creative employees. Through internal and external environmental protection and safety training, we sensitise our employees and encourage them to question how environmentally friendly and safe we are being at all levels.

We take notice of legal regulations and official documents regarding the environment, production, labelling as well as the contents of our products. Even when at the development stage of a new product we seriously take the environment into account when selecting our raw materials and packaging material.
