Already in 2001, the ift Rosenheim tested our former product COSMOFEN DUO. In 2017, the institute carried out tests on window elements manufactured with Weiss products again and successfully confirmed the performance characteristics as per EN 14351-1 *.
*On one-wing turn/tilt windows with bottom light window the following items were tested: Air permeability; resistance to wind load; water tightness; operating forces; continuous functioning; reveal and hinge obstacle test; mechanical load; impact resistance.
Generally accepted worldwide
In addition to the French VOC emission class A+, COSMO® PU-200.280 is also officially registered in Russia and is GOST R certified, as well as also registered in many international lists.
Variably applicable
+In addition to the approved adhesive COSMO® PU-200.280, Weiss has many product variants (several standard colours, 2x310ml (900g) and 2x190ml (550g) tandem cartridges, especially fast reaction time, elastic variants, free from H351 (R40), UV colourfast, 1-C-systems) available and with this they are offering individual solutions for specific requirements, e.g. special colours can be provided individually.
System advantages on the basis of tuned dosing system
The combination of especially adapted tandem cartridges, static mixers (COSMO SP-800.221) and dosing guns (COSMO® SP-750.121)) leads to an optimum dosing behaviour of the 2-component-adhesive (COSMO® PU-200.280) whereby 50% percent of time is saved during dosing.
Very good storage life and safe transport
COSMO® PU-200.280 has a shelf life of 15 months (some competitors' products have a shelf life of only 9 months). The design of the tandem cartridges in the especially stable 10-pieces cardboard box provides for the safe transport of the COSMO® PU-200.280 worldwide.
