With four new bio-based adhesive and cleaning agent solutions, the traditional company that has been in business for more than 200 years can show how good they are at the Fensterbau frontale: For the bonding of corner angles in aluminium window construction, a 1-C and soon, a 2-C polyurethane adhesive have been developed whose ingredients are based on sustainable raw materials to 26% (1-C) and 60% (2-C). And to match those, there is a new odourless cleaning agent that, with 80% bio-based raw material content, sets completely new standards. And Weiss is showing new paths for the RAL assembly. For the bonding of window joint tapes, recently, a dispersion adhesive with a bio-based carbon content of 47% is available. The new adhesives and cleaning agents actively contribute to the protection of the environment: As innovative products, they have been developed with particular consideration for our limited raw material resources, yet without losing sight of the top quality which we consider a matter of course. 

With the thermal insulting sandwich elements COSMO Therm, Weiss is offering an ideal solution for the profile and frame processing in window construction, for the base constructions and with lifting and sliding doors or window connection profiles. Depending on the requirements, the PVC top coat can be configured individually with various inner cores, being extruded polystyrene-rigid foam (XPS), thermoplastic plastics (TK) and with a polyurethane recycling panel (PR). All elements are characterised by an outstanding resistance against moisture, weather and UV radiation; further processing using saws, milling cutters, screws and drilling is also possible. Increased demands on sound insulation are present in the specially developed sandwich elements.
